[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with this dryer and the warning feature that indicates when the air flow in the vent pipe is blocked.  The air flow indicator is the main reason that I chose this particular model.  I know that excess lint in the vent causes many house fires.  My previous dryer did not catch a lot of the lint and was a problem with the long distance required for the vent.  The first day I used this dryer, it indicated that there was a 90% blockage in the vent, so I stopped using it. Two weeks later, my son-in-law worked on cleaning out the vent for a couple of hours and we finally were able to remove a large clog using a 20 foot hose on my vacuum cleaner! It was not an easy job as there are two 90 degree  angles in the vent that goes under the floor then under the adjacent bedroom to the outside wall. Now that the vent is cleared, the dryer is working beautifully, and the lint screen is catching much more lint than my previous dryer. I am very happy that I spent a few extra dollars to get the air flow warning feature on my dryer.  On top of that, I love all of the extra settings on this dryer and have used them all! The dryer dries the clothes very quickly and the sensor feature works extremely well and adjusts the drying time as needed. I have actually stood in my laundry room and out of curiosity watched the timer change as the sensor was reading the amount of moisture in the clothing. It works so well!  I highly recommend this dryer.

My sister and I have had this about a month and a half now. We got it  after moving to a new apartment. It was such a good decision! My sister and I haven't had any problems. The moisture sensors are amazing at adjusting time (either to add more if the clothes aren't dry or lessening the time if they're drying quickly). I love the dryer so much. Our washer was doing a slow death.  Hubby decided to surprise me and added on the matching dryer when he ordered the LG washer.  I am SOOOO happy that he did.  This dryer works great - even drying and lots of options.  Buttons are easy to understand it even sings a song when it's finished, not just an annoying BEEP.

LOVE IT!!

My friend recommended this dryer to me and I love it. It is one of the few energy efficient dryers and when it finishes the cycle, it does not scare you with the sound but chimes nicely. One of my favorite features is the Flow Sense. This sensor will light up if your vent from your dryer is not functioning properly. When I got my new dryer, this sensor lit up prompting me to have my dryer vent ductwork cleaned out. It was loaded with lint which can be very dangerous. It and I are now happy!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this as a replacement for our 16 year old dryer and to match the washing machine we bought the day before. The only thing I have an issue with is that the top metal platform is very weak. After two days of owning it we had to get behind it and I placed my hand on the top edge and now there is a dent in it. We could have been one of those customers who saw it was there when opened but I wanted to be honest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always dried my clothes in a cool cycle. Three fourths of clothing labels tell you to do that. It avoids shrinking and keeps clothes nice. Well, it almost seems like low is another word for air only. It usually takes two to three cycles to dry on low. That's a lot of time!  I ended up drying on warm—so far with no problems, but it still concerns me. I also don't like that some cycles don't allow me to choose a certain temp.

The dryer on the floor of the home improvement store was not hooked up to electricity so it didn't occur to me that there was no light inside the dryer. Disappointing, I have never owned a dryer that didn't have a light inside when you opened the door. The damp sensor turns the dryer off too soon.

I bought this last month and would not do so again. Whoever thought making a normal cycle blow only cool air should be fired. The cool air cycle should be optional,  not a preset. Also, I should not have to find my cycle setting every time I go to start the dryer makes this too complicated.  And I really don't like that most of the cycles are preset and can't be modified.

Dryer disappoints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is so smart that is in fact dumb. It's usless. Why do I need my dryer equipped with smart technology, when it does not dry cloths like a dryer is supposed to. The flow sense is an issue and by reading the manual it's a common issue, there is even a portion that states that the pressure from the duct must meet a specific standard and the only way to test this is to have a special tool. Things that consumers are unable to fix themselves. 

I understand the purpose of the flow sense sensor but it completely makes the appliance unusable, and it is a common issue. Too many specifics. The duct hose must be a certain length, duct pressure, duct cleaning. And if you can't fix the flow sense issue your cloths will not dry due to the dryer stopping.
