I picked up a raw beef brisket from Sam's, and it looked great right out of the package. The marbling was solid, and it was a good size for a slow cook. After smoking it low and slow, the brisket came out tender and juicy with a nice beefy flavor. It had a good balance of fat and meat, making it plenty flavorful without any fuss. Definitely a good choice if you want quality brisket at a good price.

Great Quality

I have always bought my briskets that I smoke from another store but while shopping at Sam's recently I ran across their whole briskets at a very good price.  They were not completely trimmed, which I like as it improves the tenderness of the brisket when it is smoked.  The results was one of the best briskets I have done.  Very tasty and tender.  I will definitely buy my briskets from Sam's from now on.

Super Great Smoking Brisket

Very good quality meat. I was given a smoker for Christmas and the first thing I cooked was beef brisket. I had never cooked one before. I learned to separate the two muscles when you this huge chunk of beef! It came out perfect! I am always satisfied with Sam's meat department.

Made awesome smoked brisket!

Top choice brisket! I smoked this on my pellet grill for 16 hours. It came out almost buttery smooth. 
I will do this again! A great tasty bit of beef!

Fall off the bone good. Smoked for 6 hours on 220. 3 hours open to smoke, 2 hours wrapped in foil with apple juice, and 1 hour open to smoke to finish.

Perfect for smoking

I bought this for an All Class Reunion.  They had a limited budget but want smoked brisket.  The price and the quality was far exceeded what I expected.  Received many compliments from the client.  They were very impressed with the brisket.

Great price, great quality

I picked up 2 briskets.  One was great and what you would expect for being "Prime".  The second had a huge fat section between the point and flat.  Tried to cut it out but it really deformed the brisket.

Brisket - Nice But...

I smoked this one alongside a prime brisket I had already purchased to compared. My experience, the choice was not trimmed very well. The meat itself cooked and tasted the same. Im not sure the choice price matched a savings to the prime. Next time I will look it over more as I didn't enjoy all the trimming.

Brisket is a definite favorite!

The brisket I ordered was $74.00 The one I received was 159.00. I know it says weight will vary but twice the size I thought I was getting, come on! I won't make that mistake again, I will never order meat for delivery again!

Misleading Description

Website and package says 5 briskets per box.  I only received 4... now i have to make a special trip to purchase 1 brisket. This was for an event that the customer requested 5 briskets.
