This thing works! I was skeptical when I purchased, but, it does not disappoint. It cleans even wet heavy snow. Battery lasts a lot longer than I thought it would. After 15-20 minutes of fairly heavy use, it still had 2 out of 3 bars left. Only negative I have, is it was a little hard to get it put together. The wire that runs through the handle tube is almost too long and wants to bunch up when assembling sections. Other than that, for $150 it was a great purchase.

Better than I imagined.

So easy to set up! This will be great for clearing the front walkway, patio, and steps leading into the house. We have been trying to get our teenagers to help more with shoveling, and this will be perfect for that. It is so lightweight and easy to hold. When they saw it, they were arguing about who would get to use it!!

It comes with a case, which I really appreciated, and a battery charger that can be wall mounted. The battery is also lightweight. 

I loved that when I turned it on it wasn't too loud. We like to clear the snow early in the morning so we can get out for work and school, and I am glad that this will be quiet enough to get the job done without bothering the neighbors. 

Thinking about getting these as gifts for a few people!! Great little machine.

I received my unit 2 weeks ago,lm very impressed with its power and throwing distants. We have had 3 ft of snow or better and it’s great for patio,s and sidewalks and knocking down high piles and drifts of snow. It throw,s better than my gas snowblower and could definitely do the whole driveway. Used it a very lot and have not ran the battery all the way down. I was a little concerned on recharge time because at first it too 7 hrs. To charge. But after more recharging it seems to be working faster. Good purchase.

Power shovel

Very impressed with this snow shovel! There is a lot of power for such a lightweight tool. Package was delivered quickly in a secure box with lots of graphics and info. Setup took less than 10 minutes. It barely takes up any space and love that there is no gas needed. Looking forward to using this on our patio and steps all winter!

Powerful Snow Shovel!

Had not heard of the “Joe family”. Purchased the “Snow Shovel” not expecting the level of satisfaction. Everything worked as advertised including a couple of surprise additions. Because of my satisfaction I plan to order some other Joe products. Many thanks.

Pleasantly surprised

An amazing little light machine. Works through snow easily and so easy to handle. I love that I done have to bother with a cord. The only complaint is that there is no directional cover...that would make it even more wonderful. I cleaned my walk and driveway, as well as my neighbors walks but I was totally covered in snow when I finished. A screen cover that directs the snow away from you would be a great addition to this product.

I depend on Joe

I was skeptical of the TV infomercial concerning the Snow Joe cordless shovel but being in my seventies I had to try the product. The Snow Joe performed as advertised. The 13" width clears a nice swath, the shovel does throw the snow a nice distance. My driveway is 2 cars wide and 60 feet long, I was surprised to see the battery would let me do the driveway 2 1/2 times on one charge which is very convenient.The Snow Joe cordless shovel is definitely AS Advertised.

You get what you see

Once you get used to it, this Snow Joe really does the job. It's easy to use and makes back breaking work easy and a lot less painful. Highly recommended for walkways and porches. Can also be used on a driveway but a snowblower is probably a better option there.

Great Product

not as I had hoped. but that might be my fault I purchased the smaller one because the next size up was sold out didn't think i would need the big boys since i don't have that big of a space to clear. if you only have a few inches of snow it works great. but when it's a lit of heavier snow not so good.

Not really sure about this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my snow Joe is relatively easy to maneuver, and a great help in the shoveling process.
As a first-time user, I am having difficulty learning how to use it, as the pattern that one needs to use is a tad different than a large snowblower. The direction of the blown snow is the dictator of the game. Maybe by next year, I will have mastered it.

makes life easier

Would not recommend.  Can not handle heavy snow.  Even only a few inches of heavy snow.  Belt broke and auger will not turn.  Very disappointed.  What good is a blower that can only handle light snow?
