New Roku works well, disappointed that I needed to buy a new one. After researching why some apps weren’t working properly, I learned your Roku only last 3-5 years and you should update.

This Ultra is the sixth Roku device I've owned--I have recommended and installed at least two dozen more for hesitant friends. Each successive model just offers features and improvements that "wow" me. I recently replaced an older TV with a QLED 4K model and I wanted the best resolution possible so I traded my 2022 Ultra for the 2024 and couldn't be more pleased. It loads faster, handles, defintion and motion better than anything I have seen.

Love Roku devices and this model is loaded! This is my second one to buy. Great streaming, picture quality and zero buffering.

Roku devices are the best for streaming!

Our early version, original and still working Roku needed an upgrade to take advantage of the new technology available with our new TV system.  The transition to the Roku Ultra was simple and the picture and sound quality is excellent.  Love the backlit, rechargeable remote with volume control and voice activation which can be turned on and off on the remote.  We turned voice off after it surprisingly picked up TV dialogue and started a search. Overall, a great streaming product.

Great Upgrade

We were having trouble with our TV kicking out all the time. We did some research and was told we needed a new streaming device. We liked our roku stick but it seems that was the problem because since we replaced it with roku ultra it runs faster and smoother and we don't have the problem of being kicked out the system.

I've got a 10 year old tv that still has a great picture. The problem was that some streaming applications were too much for its limited processor capabilities and contents would freeze or appear to buffer for long periods. After installing the Roku Ultra, the problem went away. Adding in the apps we had to the Roku menu was easy and seeing the streaming options is nice.

Streaming Glitch Gone

I've used the Roku Express devices for years.  I recently received an offer from Roku to upgrade to the Ultra unit; and decided to do it.  The Ultra unit loads MUCH faster when switching between apps.  It definitely is worth the little extra money that the initial unit cost.

A wonderful upgrade

The upgrades and updates are nice, but the power button is fussy (takes 2 or 3 attempts)  and the mute button stopped working.

Faulty Remote

This"top of the line" Rocku  is not as good as "any" of the past items. Rocku (company) does make mention that their products work well with "Most"TV's--maybe with most models of most TV's. I have several different makes and models of TV's. Never once has any of the Rocku units ever failed to connect with any TV.  I used the word "CONNECT" in erro ***
 It does "connect" but thr souund  is garbled. The speaker by them  selves are good and  work as good as any. They work on every device EXCEPT  this latest and greatest (2025) . No problem with DVD platers or over the air antenns inputs
