We shop at Sam’s Club every other week, and I don’t usually take the time to write product reviews — but I felt so strongly about this product that I had to share.

These are hands down the best and healthiest chicken bites we’ve ever had. We’re a household of three hungry boys and have long been fans of the Bare Chicken Bites and Tenders. But ever since this product hit the shelves, we haven’t looked back.

The biggest game-changer? These bites are fried in beef tallow instead of vegetable oil. Not only is that a much healthier choice, but the flavor is also noticeably better — think back to the golden days of McDonald’s fries cooked in beef tallow. And to clarify: no, it does not taste like beef (contrary to what some reviewers claim). The taste is clean, savory, and well-balanced.

We cook ours in the air fryer following the package instructions, and every time they come out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. No dryness, no rubbery texture — just perfectly cooked chicken.

Huge kudos to the Sam’s Club buyer who chose to bring this in. It’s slightly pricier than the Bare Chicken Bites, but absolutely worth the upgrade for the clean ingredients and superior flavor. We’re sincerely hoping it never gets discontinued.

Convenience food with clean ingredients

These are so tasty and get nice and crispy in the air fryer. They have good macros if you're looking for high protein low calorie options. They go great by thenselves, in wraps, sandwiches, etc. To me, they taste better than any fast food option

Very delicious.

I gave the nuggets a 4 because I felt the texture and taste of the breading had a strong flour taste. Otherwise the chunks of chicken were moist and meaty. Quick and easy to prepare in air fryer too.

I thought these were on sale so I tried them.  It was actually another brand.  I didn't care for these.  The breading wasn't light and the chicken didn't taste that great.

would not buy again

Chicken is good but the breader is a little mealy. It is crispy but gives you a cornmeal like texture in your mouth. I know it is made with chickpea flour so it's not a traditional breader, but still feel people should be aware.

Good-ish

Both the texture and flavor on these are more like a fake meat product. The chickpea crust tastes raw and doesn’t get crispy while the “meat” is gummy and feels like a fraken-food rather than a piece of chicken. I threw out almost a whole bag because it was absolutely disgusting.

Disgusting

Not good texture and all of the breading just falls off. It had that protein powder texture. When I picked the chunks up frozen and while cooked the breading just fell off. Overall not good taste, texture or appearance. I definitely wouldn't buy again

Definitely better choices tjan these

I took a leap and thought I’d give this a try first of all it’s a very thick breading not sure where lightly breaded comes in also I baked according to the instructions and it smelled like it was burning 5 minutes into baking the taste is not great we ate it it was our dinner but we did not like it at all. Now maybe it’s meant to be made in an air fryer it didn’t state recommended though so I did the oven. Just a very honest review as we eat a lot of different breaded chicken and unfortunately we will not purchase this one again.

Definitely will pass on this chicken

I normally buy the JustBare brand of nuggets but wanted to give these a try after enjoying other products from the Realgood line. They were not good. At all. The breading was almost powdery in texture. It did not stick to the chicken well. And the chicken was very tough. I would not purchase this again.
