Whether you’re stocking up or enjoying a meal for one, we’ve got you covered. <h3>How Can You Use the USDA Choice Angus Beef for Stew?</h3> When you're getting ready to make some beef stew, you really do need to make sure that you're always using only the very best ingredients. This particular cut is best prepared with moist heat, making this the ideal option for beef stew with 23g of protein per serving. While this product can help to make some easy beef stew, it's important to remember that it is certainly not the only way that you can use this meat. It's possible to make plenty of other tasty dishes. For example, you could use it to make some chili or soup. <h3>Cooking Instructions</h3> Thaw &amp; Season: Thaw meat if frozen. I enjoy having stew meat on hand, the beef is always fresh. I repackage when I get it home into smaller portions. Since we are a two-person household it's great to have on hand. I often use it for beef and noodles or beef stew. But has many uses.

Tasty beef to have on hand

MM meats never disappoint. Would LOVE to see prices come down. Would like to see beef bones, not necessarily for osso-bouco, just plain beef bones for bone broth.

PRICE Price price

At first I was a little worried that there was too  much fat in the beef but it trimmed up easily without too much loss and after cooking it at a simmer it was perfect for my vegetable beef soup. It was so tender and flavorful and not greasy at all. Thanks Sam, you do a great job on your meat!

Great for Veggie soup

Good quality beef we use for a number of different meals from stew to burnt ends, meat pies and Irish pasties, and chile. It's uses are limited only by your imagination.

Not just for stew

The meat I purchased was good.It's the fact that you no longer sell any of the other stuff.I used to come and buy So I will not be renewing my membership

Not going to renew next year

This is usually my go to at Sam's. The past couple of times, I have been increasingly disappointed with my purchase. There has been way too much connective tissue and silver skin. So much so that I was forced to throw away almost a half pound of waste. Not only those issues, but the meat is not cut all the way through, so much so, that you have to cube it yourself. Just big chunks with slices in them.

Disappointed

They have good meat....but once uou open the pkg, it is a different color underneath.  I've run into this issue often at Sam's....hardly ever at "the other store".

Be careful how you choose meat

The meat is great.   Shop Sam's for all our meat.   Would like to see stew meat packaged at less weight for two people.  2.5 lbs is great for two people and can make great meals. Also more affordable.

Fresh Stew Meat

Pretty much mostly fat and sinew. Have purchased this many times and was always good, but never again.
