I replaced my prior over the range microwave that was about 15 years old.  This microwave is a big step up.  It integrates with my LG range so that when I turn a burner on the stove top, the exhaust fan on the microwave starts up.  Not a huge deal but a nice feature.  So far, very happy with my purchase.

Been about three months, and very happy with the purchase.  It's slightly larger than the one that was here (20 years old) but does not interfere with using the stove or cupboards.  Nice functions, quiet, sings a little song when done cooking or using the timer.  WiFi is nice to remind you it's done if you wander off.

The over the range microwave is our favorite. He absolutely loves the design, the quick cook buttons, and all the features it has to offer! We also enjoy the notifications we receive every time we use the appliance and how we can go on the app and review the features there and receive any diagnostic things!

Best microwave, HANDS DOWN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the over-the-range microwave for approximately two weeks and it is working fine.   The installation went well,  timely and professionally done.   We hope we have this microwave for a good long time  as we did our previous LG microwave.

Over-the-counter LG microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Functionally it is fine, MY only complaint is there is a 50 watt halogen light under the microwave to light up the range cook top.  When that light is used as a night light, it heats up the inside of the microwave bottom.  There is only one size LED with the right length of pins, HOWEVER being its shape is live a flat disc.  In order to fit in the space allocated, it would be necessary to modify the plastic space in the one end of the light location.  I was told that would void the warrantee.  Being a journeyman eletrician, the modification would take 5 minutes and in my professional opinion would not affect the functionality of the appliance!

one issue

Good looking and has features that work well.  Defrost, reheat, and cook by item are all implemented well.  The exterior and interior are easy to clean.  Some downsides though:  The downfacing surface (stove) light is not LED (as is the interior light), it gets quite hot.  The fan which operates whenever the oven is used is the same one that is for the filtered stove-top venting.  It is quite noisy.  Installation was less than 2 hours, instructions were mostly helpful, template was accurate but could have had a bit more information.

Like it, but it's not perfect

The handle cracked, it thumps spinning counter clockwise all within 3 months. Sounds can be turned off but not separated so timer makes no noise if you turn off beep. Should have removal filter on the top vent above the door.

Skip this one

It seems a few manufacturers can't make Microwave ovens reliable. Like others, my LG is just over a year old and it failed last week. All the fuss these days about Carbon footprints and we make appliances that don't last.

Wish I could tell you how well it works. Unfortunately, the "free installation" is the stupidest system I've ever seen. The particular company that does the scheduling is completely incompetent and horribly run (RXO). Basically, the way they do it is to send you text messages and call you from unknown numbers. When you reply, you have to navigate the menu to get to a person. After that, the procedure is to just keep scheduling you and spamming you with texts until an appointment finally actually clicks with an available slot with the installer. Then, when they came, they said they couldn't do it because of a screw in the cabinet that needed to be moved. (Of course. There's always something.) They said to call the number after my husband had moved it to reschedule, which was just literally a lie. After calling the company back, there really just isn't a procedure for that, which the installer probably knew when he said it to me because he wanted to leave. The holes that they had screwed weren't in the right place, either. If they had done them in the right place to begin with, it might not have even been an issue. Anyway, I will definitely be keeping this experience in mind the next time I purchase an appliance from sam's with "free installation."
