This is the most convenient cooler ever. What's even better about this is that it sits at a higher level because of the base and you don't have to bend over and search for what you need. Your able to add adult drinks and separate the kids drinks. You won't have to dig in the ice to find what you need. Your able to organize your items and the cover is light weight and stays up as you get your item. If you need to move it, the wheels allow you to do so. Best thing I've bought this year and it is perfect for my backyard bbqs.

The cooler is great, with a few exceptions. The lid is flimsy, but I kinda expected that. This isn't a cooler for long term storage of food and beverage. It is for a party or day's worth of utility, max. My only complaint about the lid is that it does not clip on securely. If someone opens it and let's it fall backward it will detach. More of an annoyance than anything else. . Also, the tabs on top to help tie it down broke with the slightest pressure and the beer cap cup broke off after one slide into the bed of a truck. That being said, we took this to the beach and pool three days in a row and LOVED the depth of the cooler, wheels, and height to prevent bending over to find something. Recommend to anyone but realize it isn't a rugged cooler for camping or hunting/fishing.

Utility

We held off purchasing this cooler for over a year after reading the reviews on the lid. We finally decided to pull the trigger with the cooler and wheel set up being so desirable. The lid was even worse than anticipated. Hopefully someone at Igloo is listening to all these reviews and makes a correction on this terrible lid.

Love the base, HATE the lid!

Great cooler but burns thru the ice because of the top (lid) being thin plastic. Great concept and perfect for a couple hours but keep it out of the sun and have extra ice on hand

Ice Eater

The price point is very good compared to most its size. My issue is with the lid. It should be slightly insulated and it needs to rest flus over the cooler rim. They designed the notches so the lid rests above the cooler rim and this allows warm air in. Honestly it looks like a mistake and they ran with it.

Very nice but lid needs a better design.

It appears to be a well made cooler. Removable bottom with wheels and dividers. The condiment tray is sold separately (I think that also should have a lid) m.  I plan on using this for parties only. This is not a cooler. The lid is not insulated and no latches. The lid is actually quite flimsy and does not seal or sit flush. I hope they create and sell separately an actual cooler lid to replace.

Great for parties but it's not a cooler

The igloo itself is great and does keep things cool. However, I believe there to be a design flaw for the bolts that holds the wheels. A simple lock washer and wing nut is not enough to hold the wheels in place. After rolling around for a while they fall out unless you check each and every time of use.

Flaw in Hardware for Wheels

This had the opportunity to be an awesome cooler, but its not.. The one draw back it has is the lid is like an after thought. It is made of thin plastic! it wont keep anything cool for long because of this. They could have put a good thermal lid on this and even made it to where you could sit on it, it would have been perfect. They did not do that they put a flimsy lid on it and if you tried to sit on it you would be in the cooler. you can expect the ice  in this to last about 1-2 hours.

Could have been good, but its not.

Cooler looks great, but the cover is equivalent to a Rubbermaid tub-it has absolutely no insulation and will not be able to hold ice cold for any period of time

Flimsy cover with no insulation

Cover of the cooler is flimsy plastic Which is see-through and does not have any insulation insulation features And is constantly keeps popping up. It is unfortunate as the rest of the cooler is pretty good but the top ultimately makes it not worth it. We'll be returning.
