I bought this laptop for my business because I needed a Windows 11 Pro operating system for a certain software application that I need to use.  The good:  the laptop is fast and has been very reliable.  There has been no issues configuring or updating it.  It will do some moderate gaming fairly well.  

The bad: The HP original warranty is expired right out of the box.  HP is offering an extended warranty called HP Care Pack for $80 for 1 year.   The box arrived from FedEx beat up.  

Overall I recommend it as a good value machine for the money if you can get by the warranty issue.

Great laptop but original warranty is expired

Like others, I got an error when first booting computer but it did recover and set up without problems. No complaints about the computer itself in the 1 day I've used it, my complaint is with the warranty misrepresentation. The website states the computer has a 1-year manufacturer's warranty but does not explain that the warranty period starts when Sam's Club purchases the computer from HP, not when the buyer purchases from Sam's. The buyer will get whatever is left of the warranty after the computer has been waiting in the warehouse to be sold.  In my case the 1-year warranty is actually 4-1/2 months.  I contacted HP and this was explained to me - I was told I had to contact the point of sale to correct the warranty date. I contacted Sam's and was told they couldn't do anything, but the manufacter's warranty is not good anyway, I really need to buy an extended warranty from them instead.  If I do buy an extended warranty I certainly won't buy it from Sam's Club!
