Could not be more pleased with the performance of this laptop. Processing speed is great, extremely user friendly. The only drawback is that at 15.6 " the screen is smaller than our last laptop, but the upgrade in the performance is well worth it. And getting it on sale and during the Florida sales tax holiday was the icing on the cake.

superb laptop, super price

I bought this laptop for personal use for managing my household, pictures, etc.  I don't do gaming.  So far, this laptop has been fantástic

Low cost but powerful

I wanted an expensive laptop for my craft room set up.    So far, so good.   Fast little machine with no issues at this time.   I did add a USB hub as ports are limited but it is working very well with the laptop.

Good Deal

Fan comes on as soon as you turn it on which is slightly annoying but not a showstopper.  Great look and I purchased it mainly because I wanted an item to use my Microsoft office product.  Already has proven to be a good buy and  I will look into purchasing a cooling pad as mentioned in other reviews I read.

Decent for Price

I have had this notebook computer for about 3 weeks, so far its doing great.  Good WiFi, easy to connect flash drives.  Not in love with the power connector but at least its out of the way.  My biggest complaint would be the keyboard, not backlit and the keypad is right up against the rest of the keys, so if your fingers get off position.....
The fingerprint sensor is decent, usually accepts my finger.  Sound is decent to me, but I am not an audiophile, if I want great sound I use headphones.  Screen has good color (not touchscreen)

Good notebook for general use

It works well and is great for the price point, play some games well and the video quality is as expected, only critique is that I wish it had back and forward keys on the keyboard and back lit keys

A great value laptop

HAD PROBLEMS OPERATING EXTERNAL OPTICAL BLURAY DRIVES , EVEN BRAND NEW PLUG AND PLAY FOR WINDOWS 11 , AND I USE THEM A LOT IN MY HOBBIES. TRIED UPDATING DRIVERS NO HELP.

I recently purchased this laptop thinking it could run normal tasks like web browsing. But it turns out it is super slow. It takes at least 5 seconds to load one page. I have 2 other laptops that run a thousand times better. Also, it is made of cheep trash plastic material. The touchpad is constantly getting stuck and even sometimes clicking twice when I click once. I love the 1TB SSD and the 16GB of RAM, but the processor cant keep up with it. Overall just a bad laptop.

Horrible Laptop.

This laptop arrived with an inoperable onboard camera. After hours of reinstalling drivers and completely restoring it back to factory settings, per tech support instructions,  no camera. As I was working with Gateway Tech Support, I asked about a replacement under the warranty. They informed me that Gateway does not have a warranty for their computers sold at Sam's Clib because they are not an authorized dealer. Thank goodness I was able to return it back to Sam's under their return policy with the original box for a refund during the return period. Even though this model performed well for the price, other than the camera issue, I would not recommend this to a friend if purchased at Sam's Club.
