Great Playground but NOT easy to assemble. I had my husband (a masters electrician) my brother & his friend (both engineers) and my husbands brother (teenager but just there for the muscles) …. They started at 6pm on the 23rd and stopped at 11pm. Picked back up at 7am on the 24th and literally went straight through to the 25th at 5am. 

The best advice I could give (being the one who gave them this advice and helped organized when we started) would be to get a plastic table cloth and sticky notes and lay the table cloth out (preferably on a table but the grass works too) and organize all the bolts and screws in number order and use the stick notes to write the part number and then stick the bag of those parts on top. 

Also open all 5 boxes and lay all the pieces out in the yard and stack the pieces with their pairs and in sections. You’ll find you have like E01 E02 but magically M22 then E01 again as you’re open the box, so make an area of all the wood that starts with M and then you’ll have M01-M72 (I think 72 lol) and then make sure you don’t just do Letter areas but keep them in numerical order when you do each letter section.

Otherwise enjoy the bonding experience putting it together and the excitement on your kids face when they see it

Tips I wish we knew - but an AMAZING playground

This set is very nice. But not for someone who now experience in assembly. There is many steps but if you are a decent handyman you should be able to get it done. About 10 -12 hours to assemble, sort, find correct bolts/screws for each step.

Better than the plan playsets

I was thoroughly impressed with how simple this swingset was to put together and I would recommend downloading the BILT app to assist with the assembly as well.

However, expect to spend at least a few days, depending on how many people you have helping, putting it together. I spent 6 to 8 hours a day for 3 days putting this together by myself. I did however have my wife helping me one of those days and it was extremely handy to have an extra person handing me the lumber and hardware to attach it with.

If I were to put another one together I would easily take an extra 2 to 3 hours and in a more detailed manner lay all the hardware out next to the corresponding parts. I did lay all the lumber out on a tarp and matched all the pieces together but seperately piled the hardware in a different pile. I would suggest reading through the manual and the BILT app and like I said match the hardware with the corresponding parts.

Other than that I've got no complaints and my son loves it.

Devote plenty of time!

Bought it for our granddaughter and 4 other young children in the family. I decided to put it together myself instead of paying the fee to have Sam's send someone out to build it. I highly recommend having both a drill and an impact driver for the task. The materials are high quality and the instructions are easy to follow. I used both the manual and the phone app in order to be able to see the orientation of the parts when installing each component and it makes a huge difference in avoiding installing a piece inverted or mirrored. The manual said to expect 2 people to take 23 hours to complete, but I finished in less than that timeframe by myself (& I'm in my 60's!). 

This is a great product and I expect it will provide hundreds of hours of enjoyment.

Elite playfort

Im giving this a 5 star rating because my kids absolutely love this thing. The cedar its made from is decent material and lightweight, i will say if you are not somewhat familiar with construction, hire someone to out this together for you, i had help for putting the base together and did the rest myself, it took me a solid 2 days to get it completed and i have plenty of power tools and know how when it comes to construction. All that to say, it is very solid and for the most part the step by step instructions are spot on, the worst part was definitely the curvey slide, the predrilled holes dont all perfectly line up, i did a fair amount of cursing putting that thing together.

Kids love it!!!

Great quality play set. Unpack and organize all the parts before you begin. Also recommend using star deck screws from the hardware store instead of their screws. Then recommend spraying it with a water seal to increase longevity.

Great playset, big and lots for the kids to do. DO NOT try and put it together yourself unless you have several friends and a week to do so! Pay someone to do it! Way too many bolts! The curved slide alone has over 130!

Pay someone else to install it!

Pay a lot of attention to the instructions. spent a lot of time taking boards back a part because holes don’t line up. use clamps to hold things together until you are ready to fasten

Best Christmas/birth gift

Allow about 15-20 hours to complete. Need at least two people to complete. There are soooo many  pieces. Pieces are marked but some are hard to see. Pretty happy with the outcome

Nice play set

Looks good in the picture but it’s not made very well at all. Swings are too close together, kids are bumping into each other while swinging, could easily cause an injury or fall. Main support beam should have been longer to separate the swings more. Wood is very thin, I’ll be very surprised if it lasts more than a few years. Hardware kit had a few unusable bolts because Torx head was properly formed and  was missing a few items. Circular slide panels didn’t fit together well and caused a few places to crack when bolts were tightened, middle support was too long but this problem with easily solved by digging out under it a few inches.
